Background To oversee the daily operations of the farm's warehouse, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining accurate inventory records and a safe working environment. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and verify incoming stock against delivery notes and purchase orders. Organize and maintain warehouse space for optimal storage and accessibility (e.g., farm inputs, produce, equipment). Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch to customers or retail outlets. Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems or spreadsheets. Conduct regular stock counts and cycle counts to ensure accuracy and minimize losses. Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with health and safety regulations. Coordinate with the procurement and logistics teams to manage stock levels and deliveries. Operate and maintain warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) safely. Qualifications & Skills Diploma in Supplies Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse or storekeeping role. Proficient in inventory management software and MS Office (especially Excel). Strong organizational and time management skills. Physically fit and able to lift heavy items. Knowledge of basic health and safety practices.
