Reporting line (s): Camp Manager and/or Assistant Camp Manager Location : Erebero Hills Position Overview: This position is responsible for ensuring the exceptional delivery of housekeeping services as defined by company standards. Roles & Responsibilities: Organize, supervise, and coordinate the work of housekeeping staff on a day- to day basis. Ensure excellence in housekeeping, sanitation, safety, comfort, and aesthetics for in-camp guests. Ensure proper communication within the team by conducting regular meetings with the staff. Counsel and motivate employees on various duties. Maintain Asilia's operating standards and procedures for camp cleanness and tidiness. Maintain regular inventory and checking of furniture, linen, crockery, uniform, equipment, etc. Prepare supply requisitions for the housekeeping team and maintain minimum stock and cost control procedures for all materials. Provide necessary information to assist camp management in staff evaluation and management. Develop & implement training programs within the team in consultation with camp management. Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation policies in the camp. Recommend service improvements to camp management Report on any malfunctioning of equipment or repairs required in guest tents. Perform any other duties as assigned by camp management. Required Skills & Qualifications At least five (5) years of relevant experience Relevant experience and certification (s) Working knowledge and understanding of the safari industry is preferred Meticulous attention to detail as well as a learning mindset Good communication skills, a service delivery mindset, and a strong customer service focus Ability to work well under pressure Teamwork Willingness to be based in a remote camp for extended periods of time Required Work Practices Across all interactions, promote the image of the team as a best-in-class externally with relevant stakeholders and internally with key stakeholders.
