Location : Nkokonjeru, Mukono District Reports To : Kipindi Mpito, Academic Lead Type : Part Time (2 days per week) Purpose The Kipindi Mpito Class instructor has a special role in implementing FCW's vision and mission for the Kipindi Mpito program. Working under the direction of the Kipindi Mpito Academic Lead, the Kipindi Mpito Entrepreneurship Instructor plays a key role in the holistic care of students in the Kipindi Mpito training program. The Kipindi Mpito Entrepreneurship Instructor will help to foster an environment of learning, cooperation, and teamwork amongst the students. Overall Responsibilities Deliver entrepreneurship training aligned to the Kipindi Mpito curriculum. Train learners in basic business skills and mindset Guide learners in record-keeping and budgeting Support the development of small business ideas Teach customer care and communication skills Prepare lesson plans and schemes of work Assess learner progress through assignments Mentor learners on self-reliance and resilience Guide savings, SACCOs, and group enterprises Support income-generating activities Facilitate group discussions and mentorship sessions Participate in program evaluations and reviews Uphold safeguarding and child protection standards Collaborate with other vocational instructors Prepare learners for transition to work or business Prepare learners for self-employment or apprenticeships Hours of work Work hours will vary according to the program schedule, needs, and holidays; however, KMEI will be expected to work a minimum of 2 days per week. This will occasionally include weekends and holidays as necessary for the program.
