To find out more, visit: www.kauntabook.com Role Overview As a Field Sales Representative, you will be responsible for driving customer acquisition by onboarding small and medium businesses onto the KauntaBook platform. You will play a key role in expanding our market presence and supporting business growth across Uganda. Key Responsibilities 1) Business Development & Lead Generation Identify and approach potential SME clients in assigned areas Generate leads through field visits, referrals, and networking Pitch and demonstrate KauntaBook solutions to prospects Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline 2) Client Onboarding & Support Guide new customers through onboarding and setup Provide basic product training and support Follow up with clients to ensure usage and satisfaction 3) Marketing & Brand Visibility Participate in activations, events, and community outreach Promote KauntaBook in business hubs and trading areas Distribute marketing materials and build local partnerships 4) Reporting & Performance Tracking Maintain accurate records of leads and conversions Submit weekly performance reports Meet and exceed assigned sales targets Requirements Minimum 1 year experience in sales or marketing (SaaS experience is a plus) Strong communication and persuasion skills Confidence in field sales and client engagement Basic IT knowledge and smartphone proficiency Understanding of bookkeeping/business operations is an added advantage Self-driven, goal-oriented, and disciplined Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) Number of businesses onboarded Monthly active users acquired Lead conversion rate Revenue generated from subscriptions Skills & Competencies Strong sales and negotiation skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Goal-driven and self-motivated Basic financial/business understanding Strong organization and reporting skills High integrity and professionalism What We Offer Competitive commission structure Performance-based incentives Career growth opportunities in a fast-growing tech company Hands-on training and continuous support
