POSITION PROCUREMENT AND LOGISTICS OFFICER NUMBER OF POSTS 1 EMPLOYMENT TYPE Full-Time K E Y R E S P O N S I B I L I T I E S 1 Procurement Planning, Sourcing, and Contract Management Develop and maintain a comprehensive annual procurement plan aligned with the depot's operational and financial planning cycles. Conduct thorough market research to identify qualified, reliable, and competitively priced suppliers; prepare and issue RFQs, RFPs, and formal tender documents. Raise, authorise, and track all purchase orders, managing contracts from award through to delivery and final payment. 2 Stock Management, Compliance, and Vendor Relations Maintain minimum stock levels for critical machine spare parts, hydraulic fluids, lubricants, filters, tyres, and PPE consumables. Ensure all procurement activities are conducted with the highest standards of transparency, impartiality, and professional ethics, supporting internal and external audits. Build and maintain professional relationships with all approved suppliers, formally evaluating vendor performance at least twice per year. Any other duties as assigned from time to time. Q U A L I F I C A T I O N S A N D R E Q U I R E M E N T S REQUIREMENT DETAIL Minimum Education Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration Professional Certification CIPS membership is an advantage Experience Minimum 8 years' procurement experience in a logistics, port, ICD, or industrial environment Systems Proficiency Proficiency in ERP or procurement management software and Microsoft Office Suite Integrity Unimpeachable personal integrity and commitment to ethical, transparent procurement practice
